Festival of Happiness 2017
The time as flown and we can’t believe it’s nearly the end of May!
Excitement has been building at Storie Storie for the next jam packed few days. The last two days saw Alim in not one, not two, but THREE schools in North Yorkshire: Malhamdale School, Hellifield School, and Long Preston School. It’s an awesome chance to be able to spread the love for storytelling further north - we hope to keep getting higher and further on the map this year.
Additionally, Settle Stories have a given us an amazing opportunity! Tomorrow will see Alim and Usifu performing at Settle Stories' Festival of Happiness. As perfectly summed up on the Facebook event (find here):

‘Traditional African storytelling and drumming meets contemporary African hip hop. Two award-winning artists, Usifu Jalloh (The Cowfoot Prince) and Alim Kamara will transport you to Africa. A magical, powerful and thought provoking experience.’
It will certainly be a wonderful event for the Arts and storytelling, and we hope to spread some happiness this weekend! Learn more about the what the duo will be up to here.
Get in touch if you manage to catch the performance, we would love your feedback. If you would like to book Alim and/or Usifu this summer, click here for the booking form.
