THE RAPPER AND THE GRIOT (LAUNCH)

Storie Storie are pleased to announce that it is hosting its first launch event on the Friday 13th October 2017! We are celebrating The Rapper and The Griot at the Black Cultural Archives in Brixton, London. We are wholly dedicated to raising the awareness of African tradition, keeping these traditions alive and the art of storytelling prominent.

Therefore, Storie Storie would like to send you a formal invitation to our private event during Black History Month - we would love for you to be a part of our next step as a company.

For the event, the programme content will involve performances, including The Rapper and the Griot featuring Alim Kamara and Usifu Jalloh. The audience members will be taken on a journey of what appears to be two separate worlds of Rap (Rhythm And Poetry) and Storytelling.

Additionally, we will have discussions with the audience, a question and answer session with the storytellers, and an introduction to what our Black History Month tour is all about. We hope to use this opportunity not only to share the ethos of the company, but also to inspire and promote the side of Black History that can be overlooked. Overall, our aim is to give an overview of what Storie Storie is all about.
